Lifting your 2012-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK or Wrangler Unlimited with the V6-3.6L engine can create clearance problems between your suspension and factory exhaust. aFe's Twisted Steel Y-pipe with loop relocation exhaust pipe solves this problem by improving clearance during extended suspension travel for worry-free off-roading. This combo system is constructed with 2" to 2 1/2" mandrel bent, 409 stainless steel tubing for greater exhaust flow and longevity. 100% hand MIG-welded by certified craftsmen for proven durability, the y-pipe incorporates a merged collector design to create a smooth transition to eliminate dead zones and improve flow. The loop relocation pipe will not compromise performance gains or exhaust sound. All hardware and clamps are included for a hassle-free installation. Cutting is required to remove factory loop. Accommodates Aftermarket Long-Arm Lift Kits: Want long-travel suspension on your Jeep? Prevent contact between your driveshaft/control arm and factory exhaust during extended suspension travel with aFe's Twisted Steel package. aFe's Y-pipe is designed to provide optimum clearance between the driveshaft and exhaust while the loop relocation pipe offers clearance between the drivers-side exhaust and long-arm travel lift kits. Y-Pipe With Merge Collector: The merge collector is designed to create a smooth transition of exhaust gases as the two tubes are combined into one. This design increases exhaust velocity and eliminates the possibility of any turbulence that stamp-formed collectors can cause. Mandrel Bent Tubing: Mandrel-bent tubing allows for smooth transitions of exhaust gas increasing exhaust velocity, increasing horsepower, torque and improving throttle response. Installation is a Snap: Includes all necessary hardware and uses factory mounting locations providing stability and hassle-free installation. Leak-Free Seal: High quality band clamps and hardware are used for a complete 360-degree sealing surface.
